About the Role

Expression 360 is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Copywriter with a strong background in government communications, public sector campaigns, and integrated marketing. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing skills, a deep understanding of government ministries, departments, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and policy-driven communication initiatives.This role requires an individual who can translate complex government policies, schemes, and public initiatives into compelling, audience-centric content across multiple communication platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-impact creative and strategic content for government campaigns, ministries, departments, PSUs, and public sector initiativies.
• Write and oversee content for integrated communication campaigns, including digital, print, social media, websites, films, presentations, brochures, annual reports, and event collateral
• Create compelling campaign concepts, taglines, scripts, speeches, advertorials, and thought leadership content.
• Collaborate closely with strategy, design, digital, and client servicing teams to deliver cohesive communication solutions.
• Understand government policies, schemes, and public outreach objectives and convert them into engaging communication narratives.
• Ensure all content adheres to government communication guidelines, protocols, and brand standards.
• Conduct research on policy matters, governance initiatives, socio-economic developments, and sector-specific issues.
• Mentor junior writers and contribute to the overall creative direction of projects.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and brainstorming sessions to develop innovative communication strategies.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English Literature, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in copywriting, content strategy, or communication roles.
• Prior experience working with Government Bodies, PSUs, public affairs agencies, or government communication projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Indian government ecosystem, policy communication, public outreach programs, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to create content across multiple formats and platforms.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; proficiency in Hindi will be an added advantage.
• Strong research, analytical, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.
