Overview
The Senior Copywriter & Branding Strategist is responsible for creating high-quality, impactful copy across various media and channels while shaping and executing brand strategies. The ideal candidate will be highly creative, strategic, and experienced in content creation, brand storytelling, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Copywriting and Content Creation
- Develop, write, and edit copy for various platforms, including websites, email marketing, social media, product descriptions, advertisements, and more.
- Ensure all content aligns with the brand's voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.
- Work closely with design, marketing, and product teams to create cohesive and engaging campaigns.
Brand Strategy Development
- Define and implement brand strategy in alignment with the company's goals, target audience, and competitive positioning.
- Create brand guidelines and ensure consistency in messaging across all touchpoints.
- Conduct brand audits to assess brand health and identify opportunities for improvement.
Audience Research and Insights
- Conduct market research to understand customer demographics, preferences, and behaviors.
- Use data insights to inform and refine copy and brand strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to keep the brand's messaging fresh and relevant.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, design, and product development, to develop integrated campaigns.
- Mentor junior copywriters, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality work.
- Present ideas and concepts to stakeholders, articulating the strategic value of creative choices.
Project Management
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Track and report on campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in copywriting, branding, or a related field, preferably in an agency or fast-paced environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of content types and successful brand campaigns.
- Proficiency in content management systems, analytics tools, and marketing software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Strong understanding of SEO, social media, and digital marketing best practices.
