Design and develop control systems, define control algorithms, and develop software and hardware for control equipment for specific applications and client needs.
Develop strategies and algorithms to improve efficiency, and ensure systems operate predictably and safely.
Experience with Python, PuTTY, and Wireshark is preferred
Conduct testing, review test results, and verify system functionality according to quality standards and specifications.
Maintain existing systems, fix malfunctions, and upgrade or expand systems as needed.
Rigorously test and validate control systems to ensure they perform reliably in real-world conditions.
Create technical documentation and train users, technicians, and other engineers on the systems.
Contribute to the development of DO-178C and DO-254 compliant artifacts, supporting software and hardware engineering.
Participate in technical reviews, design discussions, and formal audits with customer engineering and qualification teams.
Support lab integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution on customer platforms or rigs.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, control systems engineering, or a related discipline
7+ years of engineering experience with significant exposure to control system design and development.
Experience or knowledge related to DO-178C, DO-254, and ARP-4754A is preferable.
Familiarity with software for modelling and simulation, such as MATLAB and Simulink, alongside programming and diagnostic tools like Python, PuTTY, and Wireshark
Familiarity with industrial networking protocols and standards
Hands-on experience in power conditioning product development for avionics and understanding of real-time systems.
