Senior Controls Engineer - (Allen-Bradley PLC + Ignition SCADA is must)

We are seeking an Immediate Joiner with strong experience in Allen-Bradley PLC and Ignition SCADA to join us as a Senior Controls Engineer, responsible for supporting, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability of PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation systems in food-grade (chocolate) manufacturing processes including mixing, tempering, molding, and packaging, with a strong focus on system reliability, food safety, and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of controls engineering experience (food/CPG preferred)
- Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000)
- Hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA (Vision) HMI, alarms, tags, scripting
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow, level, VFDs)
- Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics
- Experience supporting 24/7 manufacturing environments
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC & SCADA systems
- Support equipment commissioning and process improvements
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Operations teams
- Maintain system documentation and backups
- Ensure compliance with food safety and electrical standards
Preferred:
- Food/chocolate/confectionery manufacturing experience
- Batch/recipe systems, safety PLCs, packaging equipment
- Industrial networking (Ethernet/IP), SQL/Python knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Engineering or equivalent experience
