Summary Of Responsibilities
- Perform contract management tasks on medium to high complexity projects as assigned.
- Serve as contract management lead for strategic accounts, as assigned.
- Independently develop, review, and negotiate Confidentiality Agreements, Letters of Intent, Services/Consulting Agreements, Clinical Development Agreements, Master Services Agreements (including multi-unit MSAs), CoSource Agreements and Individual Project Agreements.
- Independently lead negotiations for all assigned Agreements.
- Independently lead the identification, development, and negotiation of Change Orders for assigned projects.
- Implement change management process for Agreements in accordance with Contract Management guidelines.
- Perform cash flow analysis and generate payment schedules for Agreements in accordance with Contract Management guidelines.
- Adhere to contract management processes.
- Assist management with departmental initiatives, process improvements and strategic initiatives, as assigned.
- Assist/mentor junior staff including providing pre-submission review and approval of junior staff's signature documents in accordance with the Contract Management review guidelines.
- Participate in training of new staff, as assigned.
- Participate in FOQuS Review Meetings and MedSci Review Meetings for all assigned projects.
- Perform accurate maintenance of CMS (e.g., timely and accurate data entry and winform package preparation).
- Provide accurate updates on all outstanding contractual documents to Management on a weekly basis or as otherwise required.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- And all other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications (Minimum Required)
- BA or BS in business or life science (or equivalent experience).
- Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements.
- English speaking, writing and reading required.
Experience (Minimum Required)
- Minimum of 6 years in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry with minimum of 5+ years contract management related experience.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Travel Requirements:
- 1% of the time (if required) and 1% will require an overnight stay (if required). Travel is primarily to other Fortrea offices or to clients.
