Senior Content Writer
About the Role
Xpresso Global's IP Wing builds, co-owns, and scales some of Kerala's most ambitious Intellectual Property (IP) eventstransforming original ideas into large-scale, recurring cultural experiences.
We are looking for a Freelance Senior Content Writer to join us onsite for a specific event cycle. This role is ideal for a strategic and creative writer who thrives in fast-paced, live-event environments and can bring brand stories to life across multiple touchpoints during the pre-event, event, and post-event phases. This is a short-term, project-based engagement with a strong focus on one key IP event.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clear and compelling event narratives, taglines, and campaign messaging
- Write and edit content for event branding, digital promotions, editorial assets, and on-ground communication
- Create content for presentation decks, pitch materials, and internal strategy discussions related to the event
- Write scripts for event films, videos, stage moments, and collaborations, coordinating with production teams
- Support sales and partnership proposals with campaign ideas and messaging callouts
- Collaborate closely with design, strategy, and production teams to ensure cohesive storytelling
- Produce high-impact content for social media, ads, websites, and event collaterals
- Maintain editorial quality, tone consistency, and brand alignment across all deliverables
- Adapt quickly during high-pressure event phases, managing multiple content needs onsite
Required Skills &Experiences
- 35 years of experience in content writing, preferably in events, branding, or creative agencies
- Strong portfolio showcasing brand storytelling, campaigns, or event-based content
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
- Ability to adapt tone and messaging across formats and platforms
- Comfortable working under tight timelines and live-event conditions
- Strategic thinker with a strong creative instinct and storytelling ability
Work Model
- Freelance / Contract-based role
- Onsite presence required for the full event period (pre-event to post-event)
- Dynamic work hours during peak phases, including extended or overnight shifts if required
- Engagement is limited to this specific event cycle
