Role & Responsibilities
- Produce clear, accurate, and SEO-optimized long-form and short-form content across web, email, and social on technology and AI topics (artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, AI agents, data platforms, developer tools, and emerging technology trends).
- Perform keyword research and build detailed content briefs; optimize headlines, meta descriptions, structured data, and internal linking to improve SERP visibility.
- Collaborate with editors, SEO specialists, product, and design to plan an editorial calendar, map content to funnel stages, and drive traffic-to-conversion workflows.
- Update and refresh evergreen content, fact-check data and regulatory details, and cite credible sources to maintain accuracy and trust.
- Adapt articles into bite-sized formats for newsletters and social; coordinate with designers for visuals and infographics that increase engagement.
- Maintain editorial standards, adhere to deadlines, and iterate on pieces using performance metrics and user feedback.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience writing consumer-facing Tech/AI content with published samples or portfolio.
- Strong SEO and keyword-research skills with experience translating keyword opportunities into content briefs.
- Hands-on experience publishing in WordPress or similar CMS and familiarity with on-page optimization.
- Experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure content performance and prioritize updates.
Preferred
- Exposure to SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Surfer SEO.
- Prior experience creating affiliate or product comparison content for Tech/AI
- Tech/AI understanding and writing experience are a must.
