Oben Electric is a fast-growing electric motorcycle startup founded in 2020 by IIT & IIM alumni. The Role

We're looking for a sharp, curious, and passionate Content Writer to join our growing marketing team. You'll be the voice behind Oben Electric's digital presence — crafting content that educates, excites, and converts, from performance enthusiasts to first-time EV adopters.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and storytelling.

What You'll Do

• Write compelling content across formats — blog posts, website copy, product descriptions, social media, email campaigns, press releases, and more
• Translate complex EV technology (battery chemistry, range specs, motor performance) into clear, engaging language for diverse audiences
• Collaborate with the design, product, and growth teams to develop cohesive campaign narratives
• Develop SEO-optimised content to drive organic traffic and brand visibility
• Own the brand voice across all written touchpoints, ensuring consistency and authenticity
• Research industry trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform content strategy
• Support PR efforts by drafting media pitches and thought leadership pieces
• Create scripts for video and social content when needed

What We're Looking For

• 5–7 years of experience in content writing, preferably in tech, automotive, EV, or D2C brands
• Excellent written communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is a bonus
• Demonstrated ability to write for both technical and general audiences
• Strong research skills and attention to detail
• A portfolio showcasing range — long-form articles, short-form social copy, product writing

Good to have:

• Familiarity with EV technology, electric mobility, or the automotive industry
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and content analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.)
• Experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment
• Passion for sustainability and clean energy
