Role Overview
We're looking for an SEO Content Writer who enjoys working on blogs end-to-end - from researching topics to writing, optimising, and publishing them. In this role, you'll create long-form content across finance, data, and tech domains, while also improving existing blogs to help them perform better on search engines.
If you're someone who likes combining writing with SEO and wants to grow in organic content, this role will give you strong hands-on exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research blog topics using keywords, search intent, and competitor analysis
- Write SEO-friendly blogs (long-form) that are clear, structured, and engaging
- Update and improve existing blogs to enhance rankings and performance
- Follow on-page SEO best practices (keywords, headings, meta tags, internal links)
- Publish blogs on WordPress with proper formatting and SEO hygiene
- Use AI tools (like ChatGPT) to support research, structuring, and efficiency
- Create basic blog visuals like feature images, simple infographics, using Canva and similar tools
- Ensure content is well-researched, original, and easy to read
- Manage timelines and maintain consistent content output
Qualifications & Skills:
- We're looking for someone with 3–5 years of experience in content writing, preferably with exposure to SEO blogs.
- You should be comfortable doing basic keyword research, SEO research, understanding how blogs are structured for search, and blog writing/reviewing/publishing.
- You should be able to write long-form blogs across finance, tech, or data-related topics
- Familiarity with tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, WordPress, and AI tools like ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini will be helpful.
- Strong English writing skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple blogs and deadlines
- Experience in Blog optimisation/content updates
- Ability to create basic blog creatives using Canva, Napkin, etc.
- Proactive mindset with interest in learning SEO and improving content performance
- Bachelor's degree required
