About This Position

What are you going to do
- Lead Thought Leadership Content
- Develop long-form articles, opinion pieces, and expert insights around engineering, AI, product development, UX, and industry trends.
- Write LinkedIn posts for the founder and the brand that build authority and inbound demand.
- Convert technical topics into simple, powerful narratives.
- Own YouTube Content Production
- Plan, script, and structure YouTube videos showcasing Squareboat's expertise.
- Handle research, storytelling, pacing, and scripting.
- Work with video editors/production team to ensure high-quality output.
- Extract shorts, reels, and clips for multi-platform distribution.
- Create Industry Reports & Research Publications
- Research technology trends, market shifts, hiring patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Publish monthly or quarterly reports (like AI Trends 2025, Cost of App Development in India, How to Build Offshore Teams).
- Turn complex research into digestible insights and visuals.
- Build a Strong Content Calendar
- Plan quarterly content across YouTube, LinkedIn, website, blog, and newsletters.
- Align content with Squareboat's GTM, sales, events, and partnerships.
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple formats.
- Develop Case Studies & Client Stories
- Interview clients, PMs, designers, and engineering teams.
- Build detailed, polished case studies with clear business outcomes.
- Produce video testimonials and narrative-driven success stories.
- Support Sales & Demand Generation
Produce Content That Helps
- Improve inbound lead quality
- Strengthen brand authority

- Build founder-brand presence
- Differentiate Squareboat and Crewmate from competition
- You will create content that positions Squareboat and Crewmate as authoritative voices in:
- Software development
- UX/UI design
- AI and engineering best practices
- Staff augmentation and remote team building
- Product strategy and technology leadership
This is NOT a social media manager role. This is a high-thinking, high-ownership strategic content role.
You Need To Have
- 5-10 years of proven experience as a technical content strategist or similar role.
- Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field and a Bachelor's degree in Technology.
- Exceptional English writing and communication
- Ability to understand and simplify complex and latest technical concepts
- Research-driven mindset
- Strong storytelling ability
- Capability to plan and script YouTube videos
- Comfort working with design and video teams
- Understanding of B2B, SaaS, and engineering audiences
- On-camera comfort
- Experience interviewing founders/industry experts
- Ability to think visually (charts, infographics, storyboards)
- Understanding of SEO and distribution
- Experience handling script-to-video production flow
