Job Description Java Developer (AWS, Splunk & Database)
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in AWS, Splunk, and database technologies to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting robust enterprise applications in a cloud-based production environment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java (11+) and Spring / Spring Boot.
Build and consume RESTful APIs and support distributed, service-based architectures.
Deploy, manage, and support applications on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
Provide production support, including monitoring, incident management, debugging, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
Use Splunk for log analysis, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting production issues.
Work extensively with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) including query optimization and performance tuning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Business) across the full SDLC.
Ensure application stability, availability, security, and compliance with best practices.
Participate in on-call support and handle production incidents as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
Solid hands-on experience with AWS services in production environments.
Strong experience using Splunk for monitoring, logging, and production support.
Good knowledge of SQL and database design, with experience in performance tuning.
Proven experience in production support for large-scale enterprise applications.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
Experience in banking or financial services domain.
Exposure to microservices architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and automation.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker or orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
