Tech Lead for GAM Dev Support will act as the technical POC for GAM Product Support, specializing in troubleshooting complex issues across Ads APIs, SDKs, Interactive Media Ads (IMA), and Google Mobile Ads (GMA). This role requires deep expertise in mobile platforms (iOS and Android), advanced debugging skills, and the ability to translate developer-level knowledge into actionable support for enterprise customers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 68 years of experience in technical product support or software development.
- Strong coding experience in Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, and familiarity with REST APIs.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in Ads SDKs, IMA, and GMA environments.
Key Skills
- Product Application: Ability to understand and debug intricate ad-serving configurations, SDK integrations, and API workflows.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in mobile development (iOS/Android), debugging tools (Android Studio etc.), and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript).
- Analytical Skills: Skilled in log analysis, crash reports, and performance profiling; ability to interpret large datasets and identify root causes.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to explain technical solutions clearly to developers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Ads APIs, SDK integration, and troubleshooting ad rendering issues.
- Familiarity with network debugging tools (Charles Proxy, Wireshark) and browser dev tools.
- Knowledge of SQL or data querying for reporting discrepancies.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including weekends and holidays).
- Experience in tracking KPIs like resolution time, escalation rate, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary escalation point for technically complex issues involving Ads APIs, SDKs, IMA, and GMA.
- Debug and resolve integration issues on iOS and Android platforms, including crashes, latency, and ad rendering failures.
