Job Description
The Senior Consultant will play a pivotal role in our SAP Procurement - Delivery department, driving the implementation and configuration of SAP Ariba Guided Buying. They will work closely with clients to understand their procurement needs, design tailored solutions, and ensure successful integration with SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing and ERP systems. This role is critical in enhancing procurement efficiency and user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SAP Ariba Guided Buying implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Configure and customize Guided Buying to align with client procurement policies and processes.
- Integrate Guided Buying with SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing and ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA or ECC) to create a seamless procurement experience.
- Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to ensure effective adoption of Guided Buying.
- Analyze and optimize procurement processes to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP Ariba Guided Buying features and best practices, and share knowledge within the team.
- Document project plans, configurations, and procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer.
- Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and clients, ensuring open communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Ariba Guided Buying implementation and consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Ariba Guided Buying functionality and best practices.
- Experience in integrating Guided Buying with SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing and ERP systems.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with a focus on building relationships.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach to complex procurement challenges.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in SAP Ariba tools and technologies, including configuration and customization.
- Understanding of procurement processes and industry trends is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
