Job Description
As a Senior Consultant - SAP ABAP, you will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence and delivering high-quality SAP solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass leading and guiding ABAP development teams, ensuring the successful implementation of S/4HANA projects, and interacting with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise. You will be a key contributor to Bristlecone's SAP practice, working on diverse and challenging projects that leverage your expertise in SAP technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage ABAP development teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Ensure the successful delivery of S/4HANA projects, including design, development, and implementation.
- Interact with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP systems with other enterprise applications.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely support to the team.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the team.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Document and maintain technical specifications and project deliverables.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on S/4HANA.
- Expertise in ABAP programming, including OOP concepts, ABAP Web Dynpro, and SAPUI5.
- Hands-on experience with SAP integration technologies such as PI/PO, CPI, and HANA XS.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture and the ability to design and implement SAP solutions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Proven track record of successful SAP project delivery, including S/4HANA implementations.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices in the SAP ecosystem.
