Solution Design & Implementation: Lead and manage SAP MDG implementation projects, including designing solutions for master data governance and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW).
Requirement Analysis: Work closely with clients to understand business requirements, master data challenges, and process improvements related to data governance.
Configuration & Customization: Configure and customize SAP MDG components, including data models, UI components, workflow management, data validation rules, and data replication.
Data Governance Strategy: Develop and implement master data governance strategies, including defining data ownership, stewardship, policies, and processes to maintain data quality and compliance.
System Integration: Ensure smooth integration of SAP MDG with SAP and non-SAP systems for data consistency across the enterprise, leveraging middleware tools and APIs where necessary.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving master data management processes, enhancing data quality, and reducing data duplication, errors, and inefficiencies.
Data Quality & Reporting: Implement and monitor data quality rules, validations, and reporting frameworks to track and improve data quality metrics.
Testing & Validation: Lead testing efforts, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and performance testing to ensure that the SAP MDG solution meets business requirements.
Training & Support: Provide training to business users and internal teams on SAP MDG best practices, functionality, and usage. Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for SAP MDG configurations, processes, and workflows to ensure proper system knowledge transfer and future reference.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current on new SAP MDG features and updates, incorporating best practices and new functionalities into solution designs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) implementation and configuration.
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and integration with other SAP modules like SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP FICO, etc.
Experience with SAP Data Models, Business Rules Framework (BRF+), and SAP MDG workflows.
Familiarity with data quality management, data governance principles, and tools.
Understanding of SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) and its integration with SAP MDG is a plus.
Experience in data migration and data mapping from legacy systems to SAP MDG solutions.
Strong understanding of business processes related to master data management, such as material master, customer master, vendor master, and finance data.
SAP MDG Certification is a plus.

Experience in industries such as Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, or Pharmaceuticals.
Knowledge of data migration tools such as SAP LT (Landscape Transformation) or SAP Data Services.
Familiarity with Agile project management practices.
