Senior Consultant - SAP

Job Description

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant for its SAP Planning – Delivery team. The role focuses on designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions with a strong emphasis on Time‑Series based Supply Planning, ensuring seamless integration with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end SAP IBP Time‑Series Supply Planning implementations for clients.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into IBP configuration.
• Design and configure supply planning models, heuristics, and planning operators.
• Integrate IBP with SAP ERP/S/4HANA, ensuring accurate data flow and master data alignment.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for client teams.
• Perform testing, validation, and performance tuning of IBP solutions.
• Provide post‑go‑live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Develop custom analytics and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best‑practice documentation.
• Stay current with SAP IBP roadmap and emerging supply planning features.
  
  

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in SAP IBP, specifically Time‑Series based Supply Planning.
• Proven track record delivering full‑cycle IBP projects for manufacturing or consumer goods.
• Deep understanding of supply planning processes, demand‑supply balancing, and inventory optimization.
• Hands‑on experience integrating IBP with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.
• Expertise in planning operators, heuristics, and model configuration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• SAP IBP certification (preferred) and SAP ERP/S/4HANA knowledge.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for client engagements.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
