Senior Consultant - SAP

Job Description

Bristlecone India Limited seeks a seasoned SAP HCM Consultant to join our S4 HANA Functional – Delivery department. The role involves end‑to‑end delivery of SAP Human Capital Management solutions, from requirement gathering and system design to configuration, testing, rollout, and ongoing support. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, ensure best‑practice alignment, and drive continuous improvement of HCM processes in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for SAP HCM modules (OM, PA, Time, Payroll, ESS/MSS).
• Design and configure SAP S/4HANA HCM solutions to meet client specifications.
• Lead system integration, data migration, and testing activities (unit, integration, UAT).
• Provide on‑site and remote production support, troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes.
• Develop functional specifications, configuration documents, and end‑user training materials.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and third‑party systems.
• Conduct workshops and knowledge‑transfer sessions for clients and internal teams.
• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements for process optimization.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with Bristlecone delivery standards.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice development initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in SAP HCM implementation and support.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA HCM (OM, PA, Time Management, Payroll).
• Proven track record of delivering full‑life‑cycle SAP HCM projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery models.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – HCM).
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
