JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced
Senior SAP UI5 Consultant to lead the development and implementation of SAP Fiori/UI5 applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, expertise in SAP Fiori and UI5, and the ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions while mentoring team members and collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust UI/UX solutions.
- Customize standard SAP Fiori applications and develop custom applications using SAP UI5 framework.
- Create OData services using SAP Gateway and integrate with SAP backend systems.
- Ensure performance optimization, responsiveness, and scalability of UI5 applications.
- Implement security best practices, including role-based access and authentication mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to UI5 applications, integrations, and data flows.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on SAP UI5 best practices.
- Participate in SAP system upgrades and S/4HANA migration projects with a focus on UI/UX solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP Fiori/UI5 advancements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance user experience.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in SAP UI5/Fiori development, including SAP Gateway and OData services.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SAPUI5 framework.
- Experience with SAP Web IDE, SAP Business Application Studio, or Eclipse for UI5 development.
- Proficiency in developing and consuming OData services.
- Familiarity with Fiori Elements and SAP UX design principles.
- Solid understanding of SAP backend integration with ECC or S/4HANA.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP Fiori/UI5 certification.
- Experience in mobile app development using SAP Fiori Mobile or SAP Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Agile or DevOps methodologies.
- Exposure to other front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
- Experience in integrating Fiori applications with SAP Analytics tools.
