Skills Required
- 6+ years of overall experience with strong expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere (3+ years)
- Strong proficiency in Datasphere data modelling, including:
- Multi-layered architecture (Foundation, Business, Consumption layers)
- Local tables, graphical views, SQL views, and analytic models
- Measures, hierarchies, and currency/unit conversions
- Experience in data integration and ingestion using S/4 Hana, CDS Views, SLT Replications, Flat files and external databases
- Expertise in delta handling and CDC strategies
- Strong knowledge of performance optimization and query tuning
- Experience in Datasphere security and governance:
- Analytic privileges, space-based access, row/column-level security
- Transport management and lifecycle governance
- Strong hands-on experience in SAC modelling and connectivity
- Live and import connections
- Query pushdown vs in-memory processing
- Advanced expertise in SAC story and dashboard development
- Proficiency in SAC scripting (JavaScript) and advanced analytics
- Experience in SAC performance tuning for large datasets
- Knowledge of SAC security, administration, and transports
- Strong understanding of Datasphere + SAC architecture and best practices
- Experience in solution design reviews and governance processes
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAC Planning and Predictive scenarios
- Knowledge of CPI/BTP integrations
- Experience in large enterprise and onshore–offshore delivery models
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 / Level 3 BAU support for SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Manage incidents, problems, and service requests as per ITIL processes
- Monitor BI systems, data pipelines, and reporting availability
- Troubleshoot data quality, integration, and performance issues
- Support financial and management reporting cycles
- Ensure data consistency across SAP and analytics platforms
- Implement report fixes, enhancements, and minor change requests
- Design, develop, and optimize Datasphere data models and semantic layers
- Manage data ingestion, replication, and transformation processes
- Optimize analytic models for SAC consumption
- Implement security, authorization, and governance standards
- Manage object lifecycle across development, test, and production environments
- Define and implement Datasphere–SAC architecture patterns
- Support hybrid integration scenarios (S/4HANA, BW, Datasphere, SAC)
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge assets
- Act as a primary BI technical contact for stakeholders
- Participate in design reviews, incident analysis, and service governance meetings
- Provide proactive communication on risks, issues, and resolution plans
