Job Description

The Professional Services Senior Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation of the ServiceMax product suite. This role involves defining business requirements, designing solution architecture, and building configurations and customizations to meet client needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients optimize their service operations and can travel domestically and internationally as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead application and business process consulting for ServiceMax implementation, including configuration and development.
  • Manage complex Salesforce customizations based on client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and clients during project implementation.
  • Conduct technical reviews and assess training needs.
  • Work with client stakeholders to define business and technical solution architectures.
  • Document requirements, configuration processes, best practices, and potential change orders.
  • Support integrations using middleware platforms and Salesforce tools.
  • Develop documentation (Business Requirements, Solution Design, Technical Design, Support).
  • Balance and prioritize multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
  • Estimate technical components considering client infrastructure and methodology.
  • Create data migration plans and scripts for Salesforce data migration.
  • Drive enhancements to ServiceMax methodology, processes, and product.
  • Research upcoming Salesforce and ServiceMax versions and recommend improvements.

Required Skills

  • 58 years of client-facing consulting or relevant industry experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce implementation experience.
  • Ability to document requirements and translate them into solutions using configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce toolkit (Visualforce, Apex, Triggers, Data Loader, Migration tools).
  • Strong technical foundation: APEX, Force.com, Salesforce Lightning, Java, RDMS concepts, SQL, XML, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript.
  • Ability to work independently and in globally distributed teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with field service operations or management.
  • Salesforce Advanced Certifications preferred.
  • ServiceMax experience is a plus.
