About The Team
As a
Senior Consultant, you will be a member of a high-performance analytics team. This role is designed for a technical practitioner who thrives on autonomy and enjoys the intersection of data engineering and visual storytelling. You will navigate a dynamic environment characterized by
60% Advanced Business Intelligence and
40% Data Engineering & Exploratory Analytics. Rather than simply executing tasks, you will be expected to provide technical consultation, refine project scopes, and ensure that every deliverable meets the highest standards of analytical rigor.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Visualization: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex dashboard suites. You will be responsible for the UX/UI strategy, ensuring visualizations provide intuitive answers to critical product questions.
- Pipeline & Logic Stewardship: Manage and edit data pipelines to support reporting needs. You will proactively identify and resolve upstream data issues, ensuring the underlying architecture is as robust as the front-end display.
- Proactive Analysis: Conduct deep-dive Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify product trends. You are expected to look beyond the immediate request to uncover the why behind the data.
- Agile Partnership: Work within two-week sprints, actively contributing to project planning and estimation. You will provide technical push-back and alternative solutions when a request can be optimized for better performance or clarity.
- Analytical Integrity: Own the validation of your work. You will implement rigorous QA processes to ensure data consistency across multiple platforms and stakeholders.
Core Competencies
- Advanced SQL - Expert-level query optimization and the ability to navigate large-scale, decentralized data environments.
- BI Architecture - Mastery of Tableau, Looker, or Power BI, with a focus on scalable design and user-centric interactivity.
- Data Engineering - Proficiency in editing ETL/ELT pipelines (e.g., dbt, Airflow, SQL-based transformations) to ensure data readiness.
- Technical Intuition - The ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into precise technical specifications.
- Communication - High-fidelity English communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical trade-offs to US-based stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Data Analytics, BI, or Data Consulting role.
- Proven track record of supporting US-based clients or global product teams from an offshore environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Statistics, or Computer Science).
