Job Description Senior ServiceNow SPM Consultant / Implementer

Role: Senior ServiceNow SPM Consultant (Strategic Portfolio Management)

Experience: 6+ Years (ServiceNow relevant experience mandatory)

Location: Mumbai (Preferred)

Work Mode: Hybrid / Onsite (Client Location)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow SPM Consultant with strong implementation experience in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, configuration, and customization of SPM solutions aligned with business processes, along with stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, and solution design.

This is a hands-on functional + technical role requiring expertise in demand, project, and portfolio management processes on the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of ServiceNow SPM (formerly PPM) modules
  • Conduct workshops, requirement gathering, and solution demonstrations
  • Configure Demand Management, Project Management, and Portfolio Management
  • Configure resource management, financial planning, and project planning
  • Design workflows, forms, and approval processes
  • Implement project templates, project tasks, and governance processes
  • Perform data migration, data setup, and configuration activities
  • Coordinate UAT testing and provide user training
  • Work with stakeholders to align tool configuration with business processes
  • Prepare solution documentation and implementation guides
  • Support go-live activities and post-production stabilization

Mandatory Skills

  • 6+ years of ServiceNow experience
  • Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow SPM / PPM implementation
  • Experience in:
  • Demand Management
  • Project Management
  • Portfolio Management
  • Resource Management
  • Configuration of workflows, forms, and approval mechanisms
  • Experience in Flow Designer
  • Knowledge of Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies
  • Experience in reports, dashboards, and performance analytics (basic)
  • Experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder interaction
  • Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies

Technical Competencies

  • ServiceNow configuration & customization
  • Data migration using import sets and transform maps
  • ACL and role-based access setup
  • Notifications and SLA configuration
  • Hands on Integrations
  • Release management & deployment support
  • JavaScript in ServiceNow
  • ServiceNow SPM (PPM) Implementation experience in large enterprise
  • Performance Analytics for portfolio reporting
  • Agile 2.0 module exposure
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist SPM
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
