Key Responsibilities:

• Release Planning & Coordination:
• Coordinate with platform teams to gather, review, and consolidate release notes and deployment run-sheets.
• Support the preparation and management of the release plan, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business priorities.
• Manage release dependencies, including coordinating with various teams to ensure readiness for upcoming releases.
• Deployment & Process Management:
• Oversee non-production and production release processes as the single point of contact for the program.
• Book release slots and manage schedules across the wider portfolio release team.
• Ensure that all release activities adhere to established release management policies and best practices.
• Quality Assurance & Entry Criteria:
• Collaborate with the Test Manager to support the definition and validation of production release entry criteria.
• Ensure that all necessary testing, documentation, and approvals are in place before production deployment.
• Administrative & Change Management:
• Manage administrative tasks related to releases, including the creation of release tickets and documentation.
• Represent changes in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, providing clear updates on release status and risks.
• Set up and manage release bridges for real-time monitoring during deployments.
• Incident & Post-Release Support:
• Support incident management processes related to releases, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis of deployment issues.
• Facilitate post-release reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous process enhancement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in release management, deployment coordination, or IT operations.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management best practices.
• Proficiency in release management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps) and change management systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
