Responsibilities
- Conduct site investigations for mine design projects;
- Evaluate new technology, mining equipment and methods;
- Data analysis including preparing parameters for mine design;
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams on larger projects;
- Mine design and inspection;
- Project manage mine design studies
- Other duties as assigned/required.

Qualifications
8 Undergraduate degree in Mine Engineering;
- Professional Engineer in Ontario preferred or able to transfer license;
- 6+ years of experience, underground and open pit mine design experience;
- Mine ventilation design experience;
- Extensive grasp and sound technical knowledge of mining engineering fundamentals and
techniques used for underground and open pit operations;
- Strong knowledge of geology, rock mechanics, and processing;
- Excellent knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite; Whittle and
Surpac
- Ability to communicate with colleagues and clients in a professional manner;
- Flexibility to travel as required for project work.
