Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Windchill Senior Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Jama Connect and IBM Jazz platform to support requirements management, traceability, and integration across engineering and development teams. The role involves configuring, integrating, and optimizing ALM/requirements tools to enable effective product lifecycle and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, customize, and maintain Jama Connect for requirements management and traceability
- Work with IBM Jazz tools (RTC, DOORS Next, RQM) to support ALM processes
- Design and implement integrations between Jama Connect and IBM Jazz platforms
- Support end-to-end requirements lifecycle including capture, change management, and traceability
- Develop and maintain workflows, item types, relationships, and reports
- Enable bidirectional data synchronization and traceability across tools
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, audits, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, systems, and program teams
- Troubleshoot tool, integration, and performance issues
- Provide documentation, training, and user support for Jama and Jazz tools
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Jama Connect (configuration, traceability, reporting)
- Experience working with IBM Jazz platform, including:
- Rational Team Concert (RTC)
- DOORS Next
- Rational Quality Manager (RQM)
- Experience with requirements management and ALM processes
- Understanding of systems engineering lifecycle and traceability concepts
- Experience with tool integrations, APIs, and data synchronization
Good to Have
- Experience integrating Jama with other ALM/PLM tools
- Knowledge of REST APIs, scripting, or automation
- Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or V-model development methodologies
- Experience in regulated domains (automotive, aerospace, medical devices, etc.)
- Exposure to reporting and dashboard customization
