Inviting applications for the role of Senior Consultant, Controls Testing!
In this role, The Senior Consultant is responsible for supporting the organisation in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and enhancing the internal control environment to ensure that the organisation effectively mitigates risks related to its operations, financial reporting, and compliance. This role involves evaluating existing controls and recommending improvements.

Responsibilities:
.Controls Rationalisation: Assist in the identification and evaluation of risks across the organisation. Analyse potential risks and their impact on business operations.
.Controls Testing and Documentation: Evaluate the design and effectiveness of existing internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of Control attributes and Control Test Scripts.
.Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to risk factors. Use statistical methods and software tools to identify trends and assess the likelihood and impact of risks.
.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations, to gather information, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
.Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging risks, and new risk management techniques. Contribute ideas for improving the organisation's risk management framework and processes.


Minimum Qualifications
.Relevant years of experience in risk analysis, risk management, or a related field.
.Understanding of Controls and Controls Self-Assessment
.Experience in conducting Control rationalisation and simplification
.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
.Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
.Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
.Familiarity with risk management frameworks, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
.Proficiency in data analysis and risk management software.
.Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Analyst (CRA) or related certifications are a plus.
