Senior Construction Development Manager, India

Summary

The Senior Construction Development Manager leads corporate real estate capital projects across India, Asia, and Europe. The portfolio includes a major ground-up facility in India, property upgrades, and workplace fit-out projects. This senior leader will coordinate projects from initial proposal through closeout, acting as the main delivery lead in India. The role requires executive presence, strong collaborator management, and the ability to direct complex, cross-functional projects across multiple regions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, consultants, developers, and contractors to deliver projects safely, sustainably, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects throughout India and APAC, including a ground-up corporate facility, property upgrades, and tenant improvement initiatives.
• Translate business objectives into executable project strategies, governance frameworks, and delivery roadmaps.
• Partner with business units, workplace, IT, finance, and legal teams to define project requirements and success criteria.
• Lead programming, feasibility analysis, design development, value engineering, and selection of architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Develop sourcing strategies and lead bid processes, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
• Coordinate all construction phases, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, safety, and compliance.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks conduct regular site visits and enforce a culture of accountability.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans review and approve change orders and payment applications.
• Serve as the primary liaison between project teams and senior leadership prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and project updates.
• Lead commissioning, occupancy readiness, project closeout, and post-project reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or related field.
• 10+ years leading complex commercial construction and development projects, including large-scale ground-up developments.
• Experience delivering corporate office, technology campus, R&D, or headquarters facilities across multiple countries.
• Strong expertise in project controls, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and collaborator management skills ability to travel internationally.

Preferred

• Direct experience managing construction projects in India and regional portfolios across APAC and Europe.
• Professional certifications: PMP, CCM, LEED AP, MRICS, or equivalent.
• Background in a global technology company or international enterprise real estate division.
