Wobot AI is looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer with experience in C/C++, Python, GStreamer, and FFmpeg to work on video streaming and AI-based video ingestion for edge and cloud systems. Knowledge of RTSP, HLS, and WebRTC is important, and experience with DeepStream and/or Hailo TAPPAS is a plus.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement robust video streaming pipelines using GStreamer and FFmpeg
- Deliver and sustain stream ingestion components optimized for edge and cloud scenarios
- Engineer real-time video streaming using RTSP, HLS, and WebRTC
- Collaborate cross-functionally to architect and finalize end-to-end deployment of complex use cases
- Convert and optimize AI models for deployment on Hailo and DeepStream platforms
- Debug, profile, and tune multimedia and inference pipelines for performance and reliability
- Support containerized and orchestrated deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience in relevant software development roles
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
- In-depth experience with GStreamer, including element development, pipeline management, and plugin integration
- Strong understanding of FFmpeg (CLI and/or API) for streaming and media manipulation
- Working knowledge of streaming protocols such as RTSP, HLS, and WebRTC
- Comfortable working in Linux environments with strong troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
