Senior Computer Vision Engineer

Wobot AI is looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer with experience in C/C++, Python, GStreamer, and FFmpeg to work on video streaming and AI-based video ingestion for edge and cloud systems. Knowledge of RTSP, HLS, and WebRTC is important, and experience with DeepStream and/or Hailo TAPPAS is a plus.

What You'll Do:

Design and implement robust video streaming pipelines using GStreamer and FFmpeg

Deliver and sustain stream ingestion components optimized for edge and cloud scenarios

Engineer real-time video streaming using RTSP, HLS, and WebRTC

Collaborate cross-functionally to architect and finalize end-to-end deployment of complex use cases

Convert and optimize AI models for deployment on Hailo and DeepStream platforms

Debug, profile, and tune multimedia and inference pipelines for performance and reliability

Support containerized and orchestrated deployments using Docker and Kubernetes

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of experience in relevant software development roles

Proficiency in C/C++ and Python

In-depth experience with GStreamer, including element development, pipeline management, and plugin integration

Strong understanding of FFmpeg (CLI and/or API) for streaming and media manipulation

Working knowledge of streaming protocols such as RTSP, HLS, and WebRTC

Comfortable working in Linux environments with strong troubleshooting skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
