Role Description
Intelitor is seeking a full-time Senior CMS Operator to join our on-site team in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
The Central Monitoring Station (CMS) Senior Operator is responsible for 24/7 real-time monitoring of security systems for important clients, P0 escalations, coordinating with emergency services and client-designated key holders. As a senior member, you are responsible Creating, maintaining, and optimizing Intelitor's incident response playbook.
Advanced SOC Operations (60%)
* P0 Incident Leadership
- Lead response to Priority 0 incidents (life-threatening, active intrusions, fires)
- Coordinate multi-agency responses (Police, Fire, Ambulance, Private Security)
* System Expertise & Troubleshooting
- Advanced proficiency in SIEM platforms, CAD systems, and monitoring dashboards
- Maintain >99.5% monitoring uptime through proactive issue detection
* Mentoring & On-Shift Training
- Provide real-time coaching to junior operators during incidents
- Share best practices during shift handovers and team huddles
SOP Development & Process Architecture (30% - Day Shift Focus)
* Comprehensive SOP Creation
- Develop incident response playbooks for all scenario categories:
- Intrusion/burglary protocols, Fire/smoke alarm procedures, Medical emergency responses (cardiac, fall detection, panic buttons), Environmental alerts (flood, gas leak, power failure), System failure/connectivity loss protocols, VIP/high-net-worth client handling
* Training Material Development
* Compliance & Quality Documentation
Quality Assurance & Team Development (10%)
* Performance Audits
- Conduct weekly quality audits of incident logs and response recordings
- Review adherence to SOPs across all shift teams
* Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with Dispatch Coordinators to refine emergency services liaison protocols
- Collaborate with Shift Supervisors on team performance improvement initiatives
Required Qualification, Skills & Competencies
- Education: Master's or bachelor's degree in security management, IT, or related field
- Languages: 100% fluency in Tamil AND English (written + verbal)
- Experience: 3-8 years in security operations, emergency dispatch, or SOC environments
- At least 2 years as a monitoring operator/analyst
- Demonstrated experience creating SOPs or process documentation
- Advanced Incident Handling: Proven track record managing P0/P1 crises independently
- Technical Writing & Process Mapping: Ability to create clear, actionable SOPs and flowcharts
- SIEM/CAD System Mastery: Proficiency in security monitoring platforms
- Mentoring & Training: Experience coaching junior staff and conducting training sessions
- Security Operations: Deep understanding of physical security systems, threat landscapes, and emergency Protocols
- Expert-level knowledge of CCTV systems, alarm panels, access control, security sensors
