Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in development and operations, with a focus on automating and accelerating the testing, release, and deployment of applications in a cloud environment. This role is crucial for ensuring continuous delivery, mentoring junior team members, and maintaining a robust infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Be well-versed in programming in a high-level language such as TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Provide continuous delivery solutions in a cloud environment, with experience in managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Establish and employ Continuous Integration (CI) practices and tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Employ industry Continuous Delivery patterns and collaborate with team members to achieve successful solutions.
• Mentor and teach existing team members, clearly explaining solutions for complex problems.
• Collect DevOps automation requirements from development teams.
• Design automation pipelines for applications based on company standards.
• Support and maintain existing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field.
• Experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, application development, or operations.
• Experience optimizing applications to maximize performance.
• Experience maintaining infrastructure and ensuring stability while adding new features.
• Any AWS Certification.
• Familiarity with a broad portfolio of AWS infrastructure, including but not limited to ECS, EKS, IAM, S3, VPC, Lambda Function, EventBridge, and RDS.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure management using tools like AWS CDK.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI tools.
• Scripting skills (Python, JS, Bash) for automation.
• Experience working with Git for source control.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Preferred:
• Experience leading small teams.
• Experience with AWS CDK and AWS CloudFormation.
• Object-Oriented Programming experience.
• Experience working with AWS core services.
