Job Description

This role is for a Senior Client Partner - Procurement to serve as a pivotal member in a fast-paced, customer-service-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement of all technology, including ordering, shipping, and invoicing. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring value and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Process inbound purchasing requests and manage the queue in Salesforce.
  • Review purchase requests and generate quotes for customer sign-off, acquiring approval through DocuSign.
  • Place high-volume orders for IT hardware/software from preferred vendors, ensuring the best value is achieved.
  • Track shipping information and update related Salesforce cases.
  • Handle ordering, shipping, and delivery exceptions, and perform occasional shipping tasks.
  • Facilitate the delivery and installation of hardware/software with field engineering teams.
  • Track licensing for software, services, and IT products across the organization, including processing renewals.
  • Coordinate handoff between IT Operations and Finance, and attend monthly IT/finance meetings.
  • Communicate and interact with all levels of the IT structure and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Work in a part-time capacity, with a relentless pursuit of task completion and a persistent, tenacious approach.

Skills

  • Previous purchasing experience is required, preferably in procuring IT products in a procure-to-pay BPO setting.
  • Strong background in technology and accounting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google G Suite products.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Relentless pursuit of task completion, persistence, and tenacity to get the job done.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively manage time, and prioritize projects in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • Highly motivated, hands-on team player willing to take on additional responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Industry knowledge of IT products and services is a plus.
