Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead strategic initiatives and drive commercial performance for assigned Life & Health client segments across India
  • Develop and execute client and market strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams including underwriting, pricing, and solutions
  • Deliver financial targets through disciplined execution and transparent performance management
  • Manage client relationships across the full lifecycle from strategic planning to deal closure and ongoing partnership development
  • Build trusted connections with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite executives and key decision-makers
  • Represent Swiss Re at high-level client engagements and industry platforms, reinforcing our thought leadership position
  • Mentor team members and foster a collaborative environment that upholds our standards of excellence and partnership

The Successful Applicant

  • 10-12+ years of relevant experience in the Indian life insurance and/or reinsurance market
  • Qualified or nearly qualified actuary
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex client relationships and deliver sustainable growth
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking capability, and performance orientation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
