- Perform and review construction/civil design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience
- Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take and verify measurements within project area.
- Responsible for quality control of all deliverables within the scope of civil engineering
- Technical review and signing off on technical documentation provided by vendors and other stakeholders related to civil engineering deliverables
- Coordinating BOP (Balance of Plant) contractors to deliver civil designs on time
- Providing site support on technical queries
- Travel throughout EMEA
Skill requirements
- Bachelor s / Master s degree in civil engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with civil design of power systems for utility installations, PV plants, Battery Storage Systems, substations, in the EMEA region
- Expert in civil and structural design including but not limited to foundation, drainage, equipment anchoring, steel structure, etc.
- Expert in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for substations, operation buildings, wind, solar, or conventional power generation
- Expert for applicable codes, standards and regulations in the EMEA Region
- Solution-orientated mindset
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in English
- German / other language skills beneficial
