Senior Civil Engineer - Environmental

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with 10+ years of experience in civil or environmental engineering. The ideal candidate will be a highly self-motivated and skilled leader with a proven track record of managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and delivering technical solutions. This role requires expertise in both design and project management, with a focus on environmental systems and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Design & Solutions: Lead and support civil or environmental projects, including those focused on earthwork/grading, stormwater, wastewater, remediation, and waste management. You will perform complex calculations using industry-standard tools and software and will be responsible for the design of environmental systems and facilities.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership by directing and reviewing the work of junior engineering staff. You will also train and mentor team members, helping to develop their skills and ensuring the quality of all project deliverables.
• Project Management: Take on project management duties, including developing and executing project scope, budget, and schedule. You will be responsible for meeting client expectations and ensuring the overall success of the project.
• Client Relations: Develop new and maintain existing client relationships. You will also prepare reports, studies, and cost estimates to help clients evaluate their options and present solutions through internal and external oral presentations.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of civil or environmental engineering experience.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in a related engineering program.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of standard civil engineering techniques and procedures. Proficiency in design programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and MicroStation is required.
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must also have strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Prior experience in project management or as an assistant project manager is preferred. Exposure and experience with U.S. and U.K. projects are a plus.
