Senior Captain

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Captain to join our team in a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The Senior Captain will oversee daily service operations, lead and manage a team of floor staff, ensure excellent customer experiences, and uphold service standards. This role involves coordinating between the kitchen and service staff, handling guest queries, resolving complaints, and maintaining a high standard of service efficiency and hospitality across all shifts. The Senior Captain will also play a role in training team members and maintaining the overall organization and cleanliness of the service areas.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in supervising service staff
• Proficiency in customer service and handling guest relations, including addressing complaints effectively
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food and beverage service, and coordinating with the kitchen team
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, efficiency, and operational standards
• Experience in training and mentoring employees
• Relevant qualifications or training in hospitality or restaurant management is an advantage
