Job Summary
As a member of the Enterprise Data & Analytics team, the Senior Business Systems Analystplays a critical role in TriNet's digital transformation by owning system integration, migration, and automation initiatives across enterprise platforms. This role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires strong ownership, adaptability, and the ability to drive complex integration migrations end-to-end. This role offers regular exposure to senior leadership through ownership of high-impact integration and automation initiatives, including executive-level updates, decision support, and cross-functional alignment.
Through this role, you'll partner closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate AGILE delivery, and ensure successful production deployments. The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is responsible for understanding the current-state integration landscape and designing optimized, future-ready target-state solutions that support automation and hyperautomation at scale.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Own the integration and automation initiatives, coordinating closely with business functions on upcoming integration needs.
- Own end-to-end migration initiatives, including the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing change and ambiguity.
- Lead comprehensive business and system requirements gathering and translate needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
- Own and manage backlogs, ensuring alignment with business priorities, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines.
- Facilitate and actively participate in AGILE ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives; Scrum Master exposure is a plus.
- Support Business User Validation (BUV) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, coordination, execution, and defect triage.
- Analyze and understand the current-state integrations built on Informatica Integration Cloud (IIC).
- Design and support optimized target-state integrations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to automation and hyperautomation initiatives, including RPA solutions.
- Apply general data analysis skills and system thinking to future-proof integration and automation solutions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, data, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or relevant educational or professional experience.
Work Experience
- Typically 46 years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Integrations, Automation, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience owning or supporting integration migration initiatives.
- Proven experience working in AGILE delivery environments and cross-functional teams.
Licenses and Certifications
- Product Owner or Scrum Master certification preferred.
- RPA or integration platform certifications are a plus.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Strong understanding of ETL, system integrations, and automation concepts.
- Experience with integration platforms such as Informatica Integration Cloud (IIC), Workato, and Fivetran.
- Exposure to hyperautomation and RPA tools including Automation Anywhere and Power Automate.
- Solid Agile mindset with experience coordinating across business and technology teams.
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills with a future-proofing mindset.
- Ability to gather, synthesize, and document complex requirements clearly.
- Experience supporting BUV and UAT activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and take ownership of outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
