Job Title: Senior Business Development Education (Admissions)

Location: Kolkata

CTC: 6 7 LPA (Fixed + Performance Incentives)

About the Program-The Center of Excellence (CoE) is established under the IndiaAI Mission and the Skill India framework to strengthen India's national skilling ecosystem in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Emerging Technologies, and the Creative Digital Economy.

The CoE aims to equip youth and professionals with future-ready skills in domains such as JAVA, Python, Data Analysis,Prompt Engineering, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Data Annotation, Digital Marketing, Customer Support, GCC roles, UI/UX Design, and Coding, creating a sustainable talent pipeline for India's digital growth.

Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Business Development to drive student admissions from engineering colleges into our training/center programs. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, excellent networking ability, and established connections with local colleges in and around Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive student admissions from engineering colleges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with college TPOs, placement heads, HODs, and faculty members.
  • Conduct seminars, workshops, and campus engagement activities to promote programs.
  • Identify and onboard new colleges for partnership and collaboration.
  • Manage the end-to-end admission funnel lead generation, counseling coordination, and conversion.
  • Work closely with internal teams (training, marketing, operations) for smooth execution.
  • Track daily/weekly admission targets and maintain performance reports.
  • Represent the organization at education fairs, career events, and campus drives.

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate (preferably in Business, Marketing, or related field).
  • 36+ years of experience in Business Development/Admissions in Education/EdTech industry.
  • Strong network with engineering colleges in Kolkata and nearby regions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving admission/sales targets.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work independently.
  • Willingness to travel locally for college visits.
