Job Purpose:

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Finance Analyst to join its Corporate Function team within the Finance department , based in Mumbai, Maharashtra . This role is pivotal in delivering financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the Retail Banking Products vertical. The selected candidate will report directly to the Head of Business Finance and play a key role in driving financial performance and operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage business finance activities for Retail Banking Products.
• Prepare monthly product financials, MIS reports, and dashboards.
• Conduct detailed revenue and cost analysis, highlighting variances against budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes and submissions.
• Track key business variables and present trends and risks to senior management.
• Maintain accurate financial data and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Address financial issues and inquiries promptly and effectively.
  
  

Secondary Responsibilities :

• Support automation initiatives for manual processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain MIS parameters as per defined guidelines and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage synergies and share best practices.
• Stay updated on global market trends and competitor strategies.
• Promote a culture of collaborative learning and shared ownership within the team.
  
  

Skills and Attributes

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access.
• Excellent understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
• Good knowledge of the banking industry and its operational dynamics.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with financial automation tools and technologies is an added advantage.
  
  

Qualifications B.Com/Chartered Accountant (CA) Or MBA In Finance

• Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Preferably from the banking or financial services industry.
• Exposure to consumer banking verticals is highly desirable.
