Job Purpose

IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Finance Analyst to join its Corporate Function team within the Finance department. This role is pivotal in delivering financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the Retail Banking Products vertical. The selected candidate will report directly to the Head of Business Finance and play a key role in driving financial performance and operational efficiency.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Manage business finance activities for Retail Banking Products.
• Prepare monthly product financials, MIS reports, and dashboards.
• Conduct detailed revenue and cost analysis, highlighting variances against budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes and submissions.
• Track key business variables and present trends and risks to senior management.
• Maintain accurate financial data and reports for internal stakeholders.
• Address financial issues and inquiries promptly and effectively.
• Support automation initiatives for manual processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain MIS parameters as per defined guidelines and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to leverage synergies and share best practices.
• Stay updated on global market trends and competitor strategies.
• Promote a culture of collaborative learning and shared ownership within the team.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access.
• Excellent understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
• Good knowledge of the banking industry and its operational dynamics.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with financial automation tools and technologies is an added advantage.
• Exposure to consumer banking verticals is highly desirable.
  
  

Educational Qualifications:

Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)

Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)

Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience – 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
