Job Description

We are a Rooftop Solar Company based in Mumbai, Dadar providing end to end solutions for Rooftop Solar and Carbon Trading. We are looking for someone who can lead the BD and Sales for our Solar Vertical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate, and close new business leads for rooftop solar projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders like real estate developers, architects, schools, and hospitality players.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to convert qualified leads into successful deals.
  • Prepare and present customized solar proposals to clients.
  • Work closely with the technical and design teams for solutioning and pricing. Know your product well.
  • Build and implement sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Represent TrueSun at client meetings, industry events, and sustainability forums.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and report regularly on deal status and forecasts.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 37 years (not exceeding 7 years) of B2B sales or business development experience preferably in solar, clean energy, real estate, education, or hospitality sectors.
  • Proven track record of deal closures and long-cycle client engagement.
  • Prior experience working with architects, facility heads, or corporate procurement teams is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Understanding of rooftop solar, sustainability, or energy efficiency solutions is an advantage.
