About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our Programmatic and Performance Marketing sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, especially programmatic media buying, audience targeting, and performance-driven outcomes. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth by offering tailored media solutions that align with client KPIs.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development & Sales
- Prospect, pitch, and close new advertisers and agencies for programmatic and performance marketing campaigns.
- Build a strong pipeline across verticals such as gaming, fintech, ecommerce, edtech, D2C, and more.
- Create customized media proposals based on client objectives (e.g., CPI, CPA, ROAS, CPM, CPC).
- Client & Partner Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at agencies, trading desks, DSPs, and direct advertisers.
- Provide consultative support, insights, and campaign strategies to clients to ensure performance goals are met.
- Strategic Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams media planners, account managers, ad operations, and creative to deliver high-performing campaigns.
- Campaign & Revenue Ownership
- Own revenue targets and ensure monthly/quarterly goals are achieved.
- Monitor campaign pacing and optimize delivery where needed in coordination with ad operations.
- Market & Product Intelligence
- Stay updated with industry trends, tech developments (DMPs, CDPs, DSPs), ad fraud detection, privacy regulations, and media buying techniques.
- Gather market intelligence to recommend new product offerings and pricing models.
Requirements- 48 years of proven experience in digital ad sales, with a focus on programmatic and performance media.
- Strong understanding of DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, and attribution models.
- Experience working with DV360, The Trade Desk, Xandr, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of performance KPIs (CPI, CPA, ROAS) and campaign optimisation strategies.
- Strong existing relationships with digital agencies, affiliate networks, or direct clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Experience with international markets (e.g., SEA, MENA, North America) is a plus.
- Familiarity with mobile attribution platforms like AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, etc.
