Role Objective:
Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building client relationships, and securing orders/projects in the wind energy manufacturing and solutions segment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategy for wind turbine components, EPC solutions, or wind energy projects.
- Identify new customers, markets, and partnership opportunities.
- Lead customer acquisition efforts with IPPs, EPC contractors, utilities, and renewable energy developers.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, proposal submission, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Collaborate with engineering, project, and supply chain teams to ensure competitive proposals.
- Monitor industry trends, policy developments, and competitor activities in renewable energy.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Prepare revenue forecasts and achieve business targets.
- Represent company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Lead and mentor business development team members.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business Management (MBA preferred).
- 8 15 years of experience in business development or sales within wind energy, renewable energy, heavy engineering, or manufacturing.
- Strong network within renewable energy developers, EPC companies, and utilities.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Understanding of wind energy project lifecycle and supply chain.
- Willingness to travel for client and project meetings.
