Job Description

Role Objective:

Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building client relationships, and securing orders/projects in the wind energy manufacturing and solutions segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategy for wind turbine components, EPC solutions, or wind energy projects.
  • Identify new customers, markets, and partnership opportunities.
  • Lead customer acquisition efforts with IPPs, EPC contractors, utilities, and renewable energy developers.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, proposal submission, negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project, and supply chain teams to ensure competitive proposals.
  • Monitor industry trends, policy developments, and competitor activities in renewable energy.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Prepare revenue forecasts and achieve business targets.
  • Represent company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • Lead and mentor business development team members.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business Management (MBA preferred).
  • 8 15 years of experience in business development or sales within wind energy, renewable energy, heavy engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Strong network within renewable energy developers, EPC companies, and utilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of wind energy project lifecycle and supply chain.
  • Willingness to travel for client and project meetings.
