Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will drive business with key accounts, including architects, builders, glass faade consultants, corporate offices, hotels, hospitals, airports, educational institutions, and government bodies, as well as B2C clients. This role requires a strategic thinker who can open high-value accounts and build long-term partnerships.
Job description
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate decision-makers: architects, facility managers, procurement heads, and sustainability officers.
- Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers.
- Drive business expansion by onboarding B2B & B2C clients, Architects, and interior designers.
- Outreach to B2B clients demonstrates the product and closes deals.
- Develop new relationships to grow the business and help the company expand.
- Think critically when planning to assure project success.
- Successfully generate business from new and existing customer accounts.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Required Skills
- The candidate should be focused and have good communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of prior business development experience.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and persistent.
- A candidate with experience in B2B sales, time-share selling, solution selling, and interior project-based product selling, etc., will be an additional advantage.
