Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented **Senior Business Development Manager** to drive SME and Corporate Insurance business growth. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in **General Insurance – Non-Motor products** with proven experience in acquiring and managing SME and corporate clients.
The role involves generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, handling corporate accounts, and achieving sales targets across various non-motor insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive business development and revenue generation for SME & Corporate segments.
* Acquire new corporate and SME clients for General Insurance products.
* Handle end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, client meetings, proposal submission, negotiation, and closures.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, HR Heads, Finance Heads, Admin Teams, and key decision-makers.
* Promote and sell Non-Motor General Insurance products such as:
* Group Mediclaim
* Group Personal Accident
* Fire Insurance
* Marine Insurance
* Liability Insurance
* Engineering Insurance
* Property Insurance
* Miscellaneous Commercial Insurance Products
* Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, renewals, policy issuance, and claims support.
* Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
* Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
* Track market trends, competitor activities, and client requirements.
* Maintain accurate MIS and sales reports.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum **3+ years** of experience in **General Insurance Sales (Non-Motor only)**.
* Strong exposure in SME & Corporate Insurance business development.
* Must have experience handling corporate clients and commercial insurance portfolios.
* Excellent client acquisition and relationship management skills.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Good understanding of underwriting and policy structures for non-motor insurance products.
* Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.

Qualification
* Graduate / MBA preferred
