Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales by identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new clients in the AEC BIM market, specifically in the USA.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, establishing trust and long-term partnerships.
- Understand and articulate technical aspects of BIM solutions, leveraging your knowledge in Mechanical Engineering or Architecture to provide tailored solutions.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, presentations, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) to track and manage sales opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate reporting.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, track industry trends, and keep up with competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, project management) to ensure a smooth delivery of services that align with client expectations.
- Develop and present customized BIM solutions to meet the specific needs of clients in the AEC industry.
- Provide post-sale support, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying further opportunities for growth.
- Represent VBS at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Skills & Competencies
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the AEC BIM industry.
- Strong technical understanding of BIM solutions along with team handling experience.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) for managing leads, sales, and client interactions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and long-term partnerships.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Negotiation skills and the ability to secure profitable contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of USA market trends and familiarity with local business practices is a plus.
