Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and strategic Senior Executive – Business Development (Insurer Partnerships) to identify growth opportunities and strengthen partnerships within the general insurance ecosystem. This role focuses on driving business growth by identifying underserved customer segments, shaping product strategies, and enabling effective collaboration with insurer partners.

You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to design and implement data-driven initiatives that enhance product offerings and improve market penetration. The role requires a strong understanding of market dynamics, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new initiatives by identifying underserved customer segments within the General insurance market.
  • Develop and propose tailored product strategies to effectively address their needs and enhance market penetration.
  • Collaborate closely with both external partners and internal teams to design and implement innovative product strategies.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and adaptability to market dynamics.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including insurers, internal departments, and customers.
  • Act as a liaison to communicate insights, facilitate collaboration, and ensure the successful execution of product strategies.
  • Track and analyze the performance of new initiatives against defined metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize strategies and drive growth in the general insurance sector.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-2 years in Business Development / Sales / Partnerships, MBA from Tier-2/3 college is preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, product strategy, or account management, ideally within the insurance or fintech industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
