Job Description

Position Overview:

The Senior Executive Business Development will play a key role in driving India business growth for the biosimilar portfolio. The role involves developing and monitoring business budgets, managing client relationships, supporting product launches, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals. The incumbent will also contribute to market research and intelligence activities to support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor monthly India business budget plans and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
  • Create and maintain sales orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Engage regularly with clients to track budget utilization and collaborate with internal teams to address client-specific requirements.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients Business Development and Marketing teams to stay updated on product developments, promotional activities, and market dynamics.
  • Support product launches and commercialization initiatives in coordination with existing clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in conducting market research and preparing market intelligence reports to identify opportunities and track competitive trends.
  • Provide inputs to the management team on business performance, client feedback, and potential areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or Business Management.
  • 26 years of experience in business development, sales operations, or key account management within the biopharma/biosimilar industry.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and strong understanding of commercial and operational processes.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
