About Soarix
Soarix is an AI-powered sourcing and procurement platform transforming how businesses discover, evaluate, and transact with suppliers. We are building a procurement-as-a-platform (PaaS) that enables procurement teams to find the right suppliers faster, more transparently, and intelligently.
We are an early-stage, pre-seed funded startup backed by angel investors and micro VCs, currently piloting in the healthcare sector.
As we scale, our immediate focus is building a strong supply-side network of verified healthcare suppliers - manufacturers, distributors, importers, and stockists.
Role Overview
We are looking for a high-ownership Business Development Executive / Senior Executive – Supply Side Growth to lead supplier acquisition and onboarding.
You will be responsible for bringing healthcare suppliers onto the Soarix platform, driving their activation, and helping them transact via RFQs and bids.
This is a founding growth role with direct exposure to the founder, where you will help define how supplier onboarding and activation is built from the ground up.
Who is the Supply Side
Suppliers include:
- Manufacturers (OEMs)
- Distributors & Super-stockists
- Importers
- C&F agents
Focus vertical: Healthcare (medical consumables, devices, disposables, instruments, equipment, lab consumables & disposables, laboratory equipment & devices)
What You Will Own
You will own the entire supplier lifecycle, including:
- Identifying and onboarding healthcare suppliers
- Driving supplier registration and platform activation
- Enabling suppliers to receive and respond to live RFQs
- Ensuring first bid participation (key activation milestone)
- Converting active suppliers into paid subscribers
- Managing CRM and pipeline discipline across all stages
- Coordinating closely with founders on pricing and conversion strategy
- Gathering field insights to improve GTM strategy and messaging
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of supplier acquisition (outreach → onboarding → activation)
- Conduct field and virtual outreach to healthcare suppliers
- Schedule and conduct supplier meetings where required
- Drive first-time participation in bids and RFQs
- Build strong relationships with suppliers for long-term engagement
- Maintain accurate CRM updates at every stage of funnel
- Track and report weekly performance metrics (outreach, activation, conversion)
- Share market insights, objections, and competitive intelligence
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are open to experience levels, but prioritize domain exposure + execution ability over pedigree.
Must-Have Traits
- High agency, self-driven, comfortable in ambiguity
- Strong communication (English + regional language preferred)
- Willingness to do field work, outreach, and supplier visits
- Comfortable with CRM tools and structured pipeline tracking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
- Curious about technology and AI-enabled platforms
Preferred Background (Strong Advantage)
- Healthcare B2B sales or procurement experience
- Medical device / consumables / disposable / equipment / instrument supply chain exposure
- Experience in healthcare marketplaces or procurement platforms like:
- Medikabazaar
- HospitalStore
- Moglix (Healthcare vertical)
- Indiamart (Healthcare vertical)
- Field sales or distributor management experience
- Experience interacting with manufacturers, distributors, or stockists
Good-to-Have Skills
- Understanding of B2B SaaS or marketplace models (not mandatory)
- Ability to strategize supplier acquisition campaigns
- Excel and CRM proficiency
- Negotiation and relationship management skills

- Pure SaaS enterprise sales to CTOs or procurement heads
- Desk-only inside sales without field engagement
- Pure B2C or retail sales
