Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and goal-driven Senior Business Development Executive to support the growth of our training programs by driving student enrollments. The role involves interacting with prospective learners, understanding their career objectives, and guiding them toward the most suitable learning solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong consultative selling skills and the ability to consistently achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with prospective students through calls, online platforms, and follow-up interactions.
- Understand candidate profiles, career goals, and learning needs to recommend appropriate programs.
- Explain program features, curriculum highlights, and potential career outcomes to prospective learners.
- Convert qualified leads into enrollments through effective sales conversations and relationship building.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups with leads to ensure maximum conversion opportunities.
- Build credibility and trust with learners by providing transparent and professional guidance.
- Record lead interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities accurately in the CRM system.
- Monitor daily sales metrics and share performance updates with the reporting manager.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and learner support.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 15 years of experience in EdTech sales, inside sales, education consulting, or telesales.
- Proficiency in at least one regional language: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, or Marathi.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented and fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach toward achieving goals.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems is a plus.
